Voyager 2 is launched by NASA in 20 August 1977 and it is a part of Voyager program this program consist of two spacecraft Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 which where launch within a few weak of each other and the aim of these spacecraft is that they study the outer planet of the solar system Voyager 2 is launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida the mission of spacecraft is that study of Uranus Neptune and Saturn as well as their Moons and their rings 

Explanation 

As I tell you that Voyager 2 mission is that study of outer planets of solar system he complete this task in first 10 to 20 years after completing his task continued his trajectory that would take out it from solar system and into interstellar space Today Voyager 2 is still operational and send data back to the earth it is making one of the furthest object made by human on our planet

As of March 2023 the Voyager 2 is located in the outer most layer of our solar system and this outer layer is known as Heliosheath it is the outer most layer of Heliosphere and this bubble like region of space around the Sun  Voyager 2enter in Heliosheath in 2018 and become the second space craft by human how enter in Heliosheath and the first space craft is Voyager 1 and today Voyager 2 is 18 billion away from our earth and it is still communicating with earth through a deep space network
